Full context
The patch that opened the Trick or Bleed season on Oct 27 changed 14 Minions besides the new cards. The official notice gives numbers for 9 of them and only describes the direction for the other 5. The wiki updated all 14 cards with the numbers from game version 3.0.1027 and put everything into the deck builder. Only two points still carry the "to be verified" tag on the card page: Seed Peon I's high-level ATK bonuses and Rosen Death's "1★ only" effect.
WHO CAME OUT AHEAD
Eggydjinn: selling at levels 10, 11 and 12 now returns 100%, 110% and 120% of what you paid (was 90%, 100% and 107%).
Details and source
Wiki math: Eggydjinn's price equals the Suncoins you hold when you buy it. At Lv12, an Eggydjinn bought with 10 Suncoins sells for 12 a round later. At Lv10 it no longer loses you money, so you can buy an expensive Eggydjinn without choking your economy.
Thornmelon: at level 7 the explosion deals 200%/240%/280% damage (was 150%/200%/250%) and the ATK loss drops from 60% to 45%. At level 12 it's 360%/400%/440%, it loses 35% and gains +20% ATK every Ready (+12% at level 10, +16% at 11). From level 9 on, its ATK can't drop below 4/7/11.
Wiki math: the Lv12 3★ Thornmelon lost damage per explosion (500% to 440%), but 1★ gained (300% to 360%), 2★ stayed the same and the rest makes up for it. A Thornmelon exploding once per round used to keep 55% of its ATK; now it keeps 78% (1.2 × 0.65). It lasts the whole game now.
Cabby Trainer and Hogsteen: Cabby Pups and Steenhogs now attack every 1.8 s (was 2 s).
Wiki math: 11% more attacks per summon, with no ATK change.
Tree of Light: base ATK 90 (was 84) and 1 less Mana at every level: 11 at the start and 10, 9, 8 and 7 at levels 8, 9, 11 and 12. The Temp ATK gain per shot is now 4%, 6% and 8% at levels 10, 11 and 12 (was 5% from level 10 on).
Wiki math: the Tree fires after N attacks by your other Minions, so 12 to 11 Mana means 9% more shots. Together with the ATK, that's about 17% more damage early and about 22% at level 12, before the Temp gain.
Glowkeeper I: the ATK bonus per empty tile went up at every level. It starts at +3 (was +2), goes to +5, +7 and +9 at levels 7, 10 and 11, and reaches +11 at 12 (was +7).
Wiki math: with 4 empty tiles on promotion, that's +44 ATK at level 12 instead of +28.
Glowkeeper: on promotion, besides giving +2 to the other Minions (+7 at level 12), it now gains that same amount for itself per empty tile. With 4 empty tiles at level 12, that's +28 for it alone.
Gourmand Baker: with a full field, the bread goes to a random Minion. Before, with no empty tile, his Ready did nothing.
WHO LOST
Rosen Death: base ATK 25 (was 35) and one attack every 3 s (was 2.5 s). The slow Aura on enemy 1★ Minions dropped: 5%/10%/20% at level 9 (was 10%/20%/40%) and 15%/30%/60% at 12 (was 22%/44%/88%). The demote on Ready didn't change.
Details and source
Wiki math: as an attacker it lost 40% of its damage per second (25 every 3 s against 35 every 2.5 s). It's still the answer to 3★ decks, it just hits less.
Pine Gangster II: the gain per promotion now has a cap. It's at most +50 ATK per promotion, +60 at level 7, +70 at 10, +80 at 11 and +90 at 12. The percentage didn't change (22% at level 12).
Wiki math: at level 12, the cap only kicks in above 409 ATK (90 ÷ 0.22). The late game is what suffers: a Pine Gangster II with 600 ATK would gain 132 on promotion and now gains 90.
Seed Peon I: attack interval went from 1.8 s to 2.2 s, and some high-level ATK bonuses dropped.
Wiki math: 18% fewer attacks. The clearest nerf in the patch.
Cabby Trainer I: Cabby Pups lost the +3% ATK SPD per Minion summoned that round and got the 1.8 s interval.
Wiki math: before, a Pup attacked every 2 s ÷ (1 + 3% × summons). The two rules tie at about 4 summons in the round. With 1 to 3, Cabby Trainer I got faster. With 5 or more, it got slower. With 8 summons, the old rule gave 1.6 s per attack and the new one gives 1.8 s.
CHANGED BOTH WAYS
DandeLion: from level 7 to 9 the cut became a bigger flat value (2/4/8, 3/6/12 and 4/8/16 ATK). From level 10 on it's a percentage again, lower than before: 4%/7%/12% at level 10 and 6%/9%/16% at 12 (were 6%/10%/17% and 8%/12%/21%), always with a minimum.
Details and source
Wiki math: against small Minions early, it cuts more. Against a 300-ATK carry, a Lv12 3★ DandeLion used to take 63 and now takes 48.
Tumbleroller: its Rush Squad Units' Shield goes to 5/10/20 at level 11 and 6/12/24 at 12 (it stopped at 4/8/16 at 10). In exchange, the extra damage dropped to +2 at both levels (was +3 and +4) and the speed bonus to +14% and +16% (was +16% and +20%).
Wiki analysis: Tumbleroller got harder to kill and slower to arrive. It's worth more against area-damage decks, which waste time breaking Shields.
WHAT THE SIMULATOR SHOWED
We tested four decks that use the adjusted cards in the deck builder (150 HP, cards at Lv10, against the strong decks of the baseline), before and after the patch. The win rate against the meta dropped for all of them: the summon deck with Hogsteen and Cabby Trainer went from 86% to 76%, Free2Plant's deck (regional top, with Cabby Trainer I) from 71% to 67%, Glaadass' deck (regional top, with Eggydjinn, Tree of Light and DandeLion) from 62% to 57%, and Gordy's deck (regional top, with Rosen Death and DandeLion) from 62% to 48%.
Details and source
Wiki analysis: the drop doesn't mean these decks got that much worse. The patch made the rest of the field stronger, mostly Thornmelon, which now grows every Ready. We ran the summon deck again with Thornmelon's growth turned off and it went back to 81%: half the drop comes from other players' Thornmelons. The one that really lost is Gordy's deck, which leans on Rosen Death, and Rosen Death came out of the patch hitting 40% less.
RUMBLE CHESS
The patch also touched the Rumble Chess Captains. Carrot Captain now summons the cost-8 at a random 1 or 2 stars (it was always 2). Weight Captain gains 6% ATK after balancing (was 10%). Guzzle Captain dropped to a 75% bonus (was 85%) and Nebula Captain went up to 100% (was 80%). Cross Synergy gives less from 25 points up and Droplet Synergy was adjusted between 4 and 50 points, with no numbers. Wiki analysis: Nebula was the only Captain that only gained.
