Rosen Death
Rosen Death is a cost 8 card in Plants on Fire. Rarity: Legendary.
- Ready: Temp demotes 1/2/4 enemy Minions by -1/1/1/3★.
- Temp
- Only works for a single round after which the effect is lost
- Ready
- Effect triggers when both players are ready
In practice
Rosen Death demotes 1/2/4 enemy Minions by 1★ (3★ at 4★) every Ready, for the round only. With 25 ATK, it removes the 3★ condition from the opponent's carry, which is why the wiki marks it as an answer to 3★ decks. The plan is to merge. It costs 8 and only enters the shop from R2. Tier B in PvP. It comes from the Mighty Trail.

How star fusion works
2 copies at the same ★ merge into 1 copy at the next ★. 4★ only exists in Rumble Chess. In regular Co-op, your partner's Minions get a blue star and don't merge with yours. How it works
- Who it affects: one random Minion.
- Limit of 1/2/4 per round (1★/2★/3★); the count resets every round.
Read from the game's official data. Numbers are for card level 1, for 1★/2★/3★ when three values are shown.
Card analysis
What this card does inside a deck, from the deck builder's data. It is the same reading the simulator uses to score decks.
Strengths
- Works as Control and Carry in a deck.
Weaknesses
- Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.
- Costs 8: it only shows up in the shop from R2.
Role in the deck
What it plays with
- Feeds Enemy demotion to the engine.
Copies and merging
Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.

Rounds: when you can get it
Worked out from the official shop and Sun rules, for players in the 1000–1599 trophy range. It assumes you spend all your Sun on this card, which almost never happens in a real match.
- You can afford 1 copy(ies) (1★) by R2.
- You can afford 2 copy(ies) (2★) by R2.
- You can afford 4 copy(ies) (3★) by R4.
- Chance of showing up at least once in a 3-card shop: R1 0%, R2 3%, R3 6%, R4 9%, R5 12%, R6 14%.
Good against
Deck types I mark as good targets for this card. The reason comes from my research (in Portuguese or English).
- Single Carry: Demotes 1/2/4 stars off the highest-ATK enemy: strips the carry's 3★ condition.
Works well with
Pairs the community and I find good together. The notes come from my own research and player guides (written in English).
What the community says
BUsable, has a deck
Demotes enemy stars and lowers speed and damage. Very annoying against Tomato Twister (stops it from growing), but not a win condition.

Builds using this card
Captain HP (Lua)
The strongest free-to-play deck according to the community: loses HP on purpose early to power up Headless Jack. No card comes from the paid Battle Pass.
Control and Stall
Drags the match out to win on the clock. Rosen Death and Leafy Trap buy time while your HP holds.
Pine Gangster II + Judge Chilius (RoyalRabbit5502)
All the damage sits on the Cost-3 Minions, which scale fast with Judge Chilius. The rest of the deck is support.
