Guaca Sage
Guaca Sage is a cost 3 card in Plants on Fire. Rarity: Legendary.
- Ready: Temp increases this Minion's ATK by 80%/80%/80%/120% if it's at 3★.
- Temp
- Only works for a single round after which the effect is lost
- Ready
- Effect triggers when both players are ready
In practice
Guaca Sage multiplies whatever ATK it already has: every Ready it gains a temporary +80%, which disappears after the fight and returns next round. The official text requires it to be 3★, so until then it is a plain 8 ATK Minion hitting the front enemy every 1.8 s. The bonus grows with card level: 90% at level 8, 100% at 9, 120% at 11 and 140% at 12. The community ranks it tier B in PvP. It drops from Harvest Pots, Recruitment and the S-Harvest Farm.

How star fusion works
2 copies at the same ★ merge into 1 copy at the next ★. 4★ only exists in Rumble Chess. In regular Co-op, your partner's Minions get a blue star and don't merge with yours. How it works
- ATK: +80%, this round only.
Read from the game's official data. Numbers are for card level 1, for 1★/2★/3★ when three values are shown.
Card analysis
What this card does inside a deck, from the deck builder's data. It is the same reading the simulator uses to score decks.
Strengths
- Works as Carry in a deck.
Weaknesses
- Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.
Role in the deck
What it plays with
- Turns 3★ Minions into power.
Copies and merging
Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.

Rounds: when you can get it
Worked out from the official shop and Sun rules, for players in the 1000–1599 trophy range. It assumes you spend all your Sun on this card, which almost never happens in a real match.
- You can afford 1 copy(ies) (1★) by R1.
- You can afford 2 copy(ies) (2★) by R1.
- You can afford 4 copy(ies) (3★) by R2.
- Chance of showing up at least once in a 3-card shop: R1 97%, R2 96%, R3 95%, R4 94%, R5 93%, R6 91%.
Works well with
Pairs the community and I find good together. The notes come from my own research and player guides (written in English).
Apple Sheriff is strong against hordes and shields, a good front-line partner for Guaca Sage.
Guaca Sage multiplies whatever ATK it already has by up to 140% once it hits 3★, including the bonus Azure Astrologer grants it while frozen in the Shop.
Same "amplifies whatever buff it receives" group, Peanut Page stacks extra ATK onto the highest-ATK Minion, which Guaca Sage then multiplies at 3★.
"amplifies whatever buff it receives," naming Leeky Beats among the buffs Guaca Sage multiplies at 3★.
"amplifies whatever buff it receives," naming Cheerbloom, placing Guaca Sage right below Cheerbloom means its aura gets multiplied at 3★.
"amplifies whatever buff it receives," naming Gourmand Baker, and Gourmand Baker's own note confirms "you choose the target" of the Bread, so you can aim it at Guaca Sage on purpose.
"amplifies whatever buff it receives (Alchemush, Cheerbloom, Leeky Beats, Peanut Page, Gourmand Baker)", at 3★ it nearly doubles its own ATK, so it also doubles whatever Alchemush already gave it.
"amplifies whatever buff it receives," naming Sister Cherry among the buff sources that pay off more on a 3★ Guaca Sage.
What the community says
BUsable, has a deck
Strong pressure in the first rounds and holds well until R6, but needs another carry for the late game.

Variants
A base card and its Variants (I, II, III) can't be in the same deck. Variants inherit the base card's level. Get them in the Variant Recruit with Sprout Coins.
Builds using this card
Promotion Engine (Gota)
Sister Cherry, Dr. Kraut and Floral Friar grow every time any Minion merges.
Orange Bros and Guaca Sage
4-card core from a community PvP guide; the deck builder filled the other 5 slots around Orange Bros' clones. Builder score: 97 (Carry style).
Azure Astrologer and Lady Tulip (700+ Trophies)
4-card core that a community PvP guide recommends from 700 Trophies; the deck builder filled the other 5 slots. Builder score: 96 (Carry style).
Community deck: Tomato Twister with Variants
A player's Discord deck built for early pressure, with Variants on most cards and the Candlemancer Badge: two Guaca Sage I at about 20 ATK each on turn 1, while Pop Gunner and Apple Sheriff clear the wave.
Dr. Kraut Starter
A deck for newer accounts without a strong 5- or 8-Cost carry yet: pile promotion buffs onto Dr. Kraut until you get something like Pomblaster or Tomato Twister.
Violet Magus + Headless Jack
Violet Magus deals the damage while Headless Jack turns the HP you lost early into ATK and holds the front line.
Depressão (NoControlTower)
Summon rush from the NoControlTower channel: three Hogsteen on wave 1 flood the rival's side, Shroomurai clears yours and Tomato Twister grows with every kill. Closes before R9.
Turnipette + Guaca Sage (Japanese guide)
A climbing deck from a Japanese guide: Turnipette grows on its own and holds the early game, and Guaca Sage, frozen in the Shop, gets ATK from Azure Astrologer and comes in strong.
Frozen Guaca Sage + Tomato Twister (JitteryKennon)
A slower deck. Azure Astrologer buffs a frozen Guaca Sage in the Shop every round, and Tomato Twister deals the damage with Berrinetta's help.
Lychee Babe + Leeky Beats I (JitteryKennon)
Stacks auras on one tile and puts Lychee Babe there: when she transforms, she keeps the ATK and bonuses she had.
Violet Magus + Mangotello, Adventure 2-5 (JitteryKennon)
For Adventure stage 2-5 Hard (Eggydjinn vs Coco Coinhog). Violet Magus and Mangotello deal the damage and help Tomato Twister grow fast.
Tomato Twister + Prof. Nutter (JitteryKennon)
Pomblaster, Guaca Sage and Pine Gangster hold the front and help Tomato Twister grow, while Prof. Nutter turns promotions into ATK.
