  • Buildable for free: no paid Battle Pass cards.
  • With Variants the score goes from 29 to 38.

Weaknesses

  • Loses to: Apple Sheriff I (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Sir Rose II, Control: stall the game and win late + Rosen Death, Apple Sheriff II (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus, Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus.
  • Relies on Berrinetta: without it the score drops 19.

The deck as the source plays it.

Without it the score drops 15.0

Attacks 6/7/8/15 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage.

  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.

Ready: Temp increases this Minion's ATK by 80%/80%/80%/120% if it's at 3β˜….

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Strong pressure in the first rounds and holds well until R6, but needs another carry for the late game.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +19.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Pine GangsterCost 3 Β·
Without it the score drops 5.0

This Minion gains an extra 5/5/5/20 ATK when promoted.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Works together with: Prof. Nutter.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Gains ATK when promoted, but no deck makes it work without a specific Blessing. Cost 3 rarely carries.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +23.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Magic (4 sec): Makes the next attack deal 100%/105%/110%/330% Area Damage.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Solid C: strong area shots, but needs slows so the wave walks slowly. Against fast-clearing decks it loses power.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +28.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 19.0

Attacks enemies in a small area, dealing 25%/25%/25%/100% damage and slowing them by 25%/40%/60%/60% for 3 sec.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Slows enemies entering the field. Lots of players run it and it decides close games.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +23.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Prof. NutterCost 5 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

This Minion gains 1/2/4/12 Research when another Minion is promoted. Ready: 200% of this Minion's Research is Temp distributed evenly to all other Minions in the same column as ATK.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Works together with: Pine Gangster.
  • Tier list (B, the wiki's rating): Collects Research on every promotion of another Minion and, on Ready, spreads double that as Temp ATK among the Minions in its column. A Promotion deck piece (with Princeling and Dr. Kraut); outside it, it does almost nothing. TreyEx puts it in S; here it's B, like the other pieces that only work in one deck.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +28.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 15.0

Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/32 whenever an enemy is defeated.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Core piece of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Community tier list, April video (S): Gains ATK for every enemy defeated and snowballs fast; the opponent can't do much about it. Fits almost every deck (except Orange Bros). The strongest single card in the game.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score +9.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

ShamanessCost 8
Without it the score drops 5.0

Ready: Increases the ATK of other Minions by +2/4/8/32 (only 1 of each duplicate). Instead grants ATK +4/8/16/64 if there are no duplicates on the field.

  • Community tier list, April video (A): Buffs the whole board every round, doubled with no repeated copies on the board. An easy A by usage; ranked behind the attackers because it's a support.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score +9.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 10.0

Deals 200%/200%/200%/800% damage to the enemy boss.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Its power is the Variant, which makes it gain ATK. A in a good Blessing week, B otherwise.

How to play the match

Engine: Tomato Twister, Pomblaster, Prof. Nutter and Pine Gangster. DPS Kit: Pomblaster, Apple Sheriff, Pine Gangster, Muscle Melon and Guaca Sage. Support: Berrinetta, Shamaness and Prof. Nutter. Berrinetta slows and Prof. Nutter adds ATK at round start to your front-line managers (Pomblaster and Apple Sheriff). Pine Gangster gains ATK when promoted and feeds Prof. Nutter's Research. Get Prof. Nutter to 3β˜… before promoting anyone else. Shamaness carries the late rounds with her Ready buff, so keep duplicates off the field. Muscle Melon is for Bosses when Tomato Twister isn't out, and it also hits high-HP and back-line units.

Questions

Which card should I level first?

Tomato Twister: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 9.0, more than any other card in the deck.

Can I play it without spending money?

Yes: no card in the deck is from the paid Battle Pass.

Is it worth chasing a Variant?

The best is Guaca Sage I instead of Guaca Sage: +9.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).

What if I don't have Berrinetta?

Use Headless Jack instead (score +23.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 19.0.

Deck by JitteryKennon (a player around 3,300 trophies) on the official Discord, #deck-building channel, Oct 6, 2026, with his explanation. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the score comes from the deck builder's simulator.

Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.

  • Oct 06, 2026: guide rebuilt in the new format (versions, round by round, leveling order, Variants and matchups), with the recalibrated deck builder and APK 2.0.1021 numbers.
  • Oct 09, 2026: deck added to the wiki.
