Community deck: Tomato Twister with Variants

A player's Discord deck built for early pressure, with Variants on most cards and the Candlemancer Badge: two Guaca Sage I at about 20 ATK each on turn 1, while Pop Gunner and Apple Sheriff clear the wave.

CommunityHardUpdated Nov 04, 2026Game version 3.0.1027

Overview

Strengths

  • Strong early (R1 to R4): board ATK 24% above a typical deck.
  • Strong mid game (R5 to R7): board ATK 43% above a typical deck.
  • Strong late (R8 to R10): board ATK 42% above a typical deck.
  • Beats: Control: stall the game and win late + Rosen Death.
  • Buildable for free: no paid Battle Pass cards.
  • With Variants the score goes from 48 to 57.

Weaknesses

  • Loses to: Apple Sheriff I (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Sir Rose II, Apple Sheriff II (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus, Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus.
  • Relies on Apple Sheriff: without it the score drops 10.

The deck as the source plays it.

Pop Gunner IICost 3 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Fires a volley of 3/4/5/8 bullets at the enemy, each dealing 40% damage. Increases this Minion's ATK SPD by +12% for each empty tile.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (S): S with the slow Variant. Without it (A), its burst still breaks the snail Boss's shields and wins games on that Boss.

Don't have it? Use Cabby Trainer (score 0.0)

Obtainable in the Variant Recruit feature.

Apple SheriffCost 3 Β·
Without it the score drops 10.0

Attacks 6/7/8/15 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Works together with: Broc Presley, Cashew Sage.
  • Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score -5.0)

Owned by default.

Guaca Sage ICost 3 Β·
Without it the score drops 5.0

Deploy: ATK +100% (doesn't include Aura effects).

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): Strong pressure in the first rounds and holds well until R6, but needs another carry for the late game.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +14.0)

Obtained from the Club Shop.

Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Temp increases the ATK SPD of the highest-ATK Minion by +15%/30%/60%/180%.

  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Works together with: Apple Sheriff, Cashew Sage.
  • Community tier list, April video (A): Lots of attack speed, only for the highest ATK Minion. Absurd with Orange Bros (players run 4 or 5 copies); fits less elsewhere.

Don't have it? Use Orange Bros (score +14.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Berrinetta ICost 5 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Enemies are slowed by 35%/50%/90%/90% for 4/4/4/12 sec upon entering the field.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): Slows enemies entering the field. Lots of players run it and it decides close games.

Don't have it? Use Orange Bros (score +9.0)

Obtainable in the Variant Recruit feature.

Without it the score drops 10.0

Ready: Increases the ATK of 1 random Frozen Minions in the Shop by +4/8/16/48. If there are none, instead increases this Minion's ATK by +4/8/16/48.

  • Community tier list, April video (A): Made for the Orange Bros deck. It shines at level 10, when it no longer needs a frozen Shop card. Much weaker outside that deck.

Don't have it? Use Orange Bros (score 0.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score barely changes

Deals 200%/200%/200%/800% damage to the enemy boss.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Its power is the Variant, which makes it gain ATK. A in a good Blessing week, B otherwise.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score 0.0)

Available on the Glory Track.

Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Copies 25%/50%/100%/300% of the ATK from the Minion with the highest ATK (excluding self) as a Temp ATK bonus.

  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Works together with: Apple Sheriff, Broc Presley.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): A strong win condition, but it only clones the full ATK at 3β˜…, and 3β˜… on a cost 8 is hard in PvP. Absurd against Bosses.

Don't have it? Use Tree of Light (score +14.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 10.0

Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/32 whenever an enemy is defeated.

  • Core piece of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Community tier list, April video (S): Gains ATK for every enemy defeated and snowballs fast; the opponent can't do much about it. Fits almost every deck (except Orange Bros). The strongest single card in the game.

Don't have it? Use Tree of Light (score 0.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

How to play the match

Turn 1: two Guaca Sage I (Deploy doubles each one's ATK) and Apple Sheriff. Pop Gunner II breaks the Boss shield and attacks faster per empty tile. Berrinetta I slows incoming enemies by 35-90% for 4 s. The Candlemancer Badge makes your first Shop refresh free and always shows an 8-cost, so you find Tomato Twister and Cashew Sage early. Late game, Cashew Sage copies Tomato Twister's ATK.

Questions

Which card should I level first?

Azure Astrologer: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 14.0, more than any other card in the deck.

Can I play it without spending money?

Yes, with the Starter version (score 43, beats 73% of random decks).

Is it worth chasing a Variant?

The best is Muscle Melon I instead of Muscle Melon: +9.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).

What if I don't have Apple Sheriff?

Use Turnipette instead (score -5.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 10.0.

Sent by a player on Discord on Sep 27, 2026, with his notes. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the deck builder checks it against the rules and the simulation.

Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.
