Tomato Twister
Tomato Twister is a cost 8 card in Plants on Fire. Rarity: Legendary.
- Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/32 whenever an enemy is defeated.
In practice
Tomato Twister gains +2/4/8 ATK (32 at 4★) every time an enemy is defeated. With 22 ATK and a 2.4 s interval it grows on its own, without needing another card. Cheerbloom right below it, Broc Presley and Carrot Broker, which helps find Tomato Twister earlier, round out the deck. It costs 8 and only enters the shop from R2. Tier S.

How star fusion works
2 copies at the same ★ merge into 1 copy at the next ★. 4★ only exists in Rumble Chess. In regular Co-op, your partner's Minions get a blue star and don't merge with yours. How it works
- ATK: +2/4/8 (1★/2★/3★), permanent.
Read from the game's official data. Numbers are for card level 1, for 1★/2★/3★ when three values are shown.
Card analysis
What this card does inside a deck, from the deck builder's data. It is the same reading the simulator uses to score decks.

Role in the deck
What it plays with

- You can afford 2 copy(ies) (2★) by R2.
- You can afford 4 copy(ies) (3★) by R4.

Works well with
Pairs the community and I find good together. The notes come from my own research and player guides (written in English).
Cheerbloom buffs the Minion 1 tile above; placed right below Tomato Twister, it powers up the build's carry.
Broc Presley speeds up the highest-ATK Minion (official text), which in a Tomato Twister build is usually Tomato itself.
Carrot Broker refreshes the Shop with one 8-Cost Minion (official text), which helps you find Tomato Twister sooner.
Without Cheerbloom, Leeky Beats set up in the corners so they share an adjacent tile with Tomato Twister also works to buff it.
Berrinetta is named as a good Cost-5 partner for Tomato Twister, Slow plus small-area damage weakens the front line.
Wiki deduction from the official text: Gives ATK to a target Minion; on this card that ATK goes further (it grows, attacks faster, deals area damage or is inherited by the clone).
What the community says
SBroken: carries the match
Gains ATK for every enemy defeated and snowballs fast; the opponent can't do much about it. Fits almost every deck (except Orange Bros). The strongest single card in the game.

Builds using this card
Captain HP (Lua)
The strongest free-to-play deck according to the community: loses HP on purpose early to power up Headless Jack. No card comes from the paid Battle Pass.
Legendary Scaling (Estrela)
Azure Astrologer and Tomato Twister keep growing into the late game. You need both Legendaries early.
Anti-Boss (Adventure)
For Adventure Mode. Breaks Shields and piles bonus damage on Bosses.
Community deck: Tomato Twister with Variants
A player's Discord deck built for early pressure, with Variants on most cards and the Candlemancer Badge: two Guaca Sage I at about 20 ATK each on turn 1, while Pop Gunner and Apple Sheriff clear the wave.
Tomato Twister Carry
Get Tomato Twister early and stack buffs on it. Carrot Broker digs the Shop for 8-Cost Minions so you find it sooner.
Depressão (NoControlTower)
Summon rush from the NoControlTower channel: three Hogsteen on wave 1 flood the rival's side, Shroomurai clears yours and Tomato Twister grows with every kill. Closes before R9.
The Infinite: looping promotion (NoControlTower)
The deck that took NoControlTower to 3,000 Trophies: Princeling ranks up and down on its own, and every change feeds Dr. Kraut, Sister Cherry and Floral Friar. Dr. Kraut becomes the carry.
Chomper (NoControlTower)
NoControlTower's favorite deck: two 3★ Cabby Trainers deliver the 8 summons a 3★ Chomper devours, Ginger Honcho grows on every summon and Apple Sheriff holds the first waves.
Turnipette + Guaca Sage (Japanese guide)
A climbing deck from a Japanese guide: Turnipette grows on its own and holds the early game, and Guaca Sage, frozen in the Shop, gets ATK from Azure Astrologer and comes in strong.
Frozen Guaca Sage + Tomato Twister (JitteryKennon)
A slower deck. Azure Astrologer buffs a frozen Guaca Sage in the Shop every round, and Tomato Twister deals the damage with Berrinetta's help.
Violet Magus + Mangotello, Adventure 2-5 (JitteryKennon)
For Adventure stage 2-5 Hard (Eggydjinn vs Coco Coinhog). Violet Magus and Mangotello deal the damage and help Tomato Twister grow fast.

Pomblaster, Guaca Sage and Pine Gangster hold the front and help Tomato Twister grow, while Prof. Nutter turns promotions into ATK.
Princeling + Prof. Nutter, Adventure Hard (JitteryKennon)
For Adventure Hard stages 1-1 to 1-5. Princeling powers Prof. Nutter, whose Research boosts Shroomurai and Tomato Twister.
Shroomurai + Prof. Nutter, 2000+ trophies (JitteryKennon)
Built for a 2000+ trophy player with low-level cards. Prof. Nutter's Research goes to Shroomurai and Pomblaster, and Tomato Twister is the main dealer.
Tomato Twister + Pomblaster + Shroomurai (JitteryKennon)
Pomblaster and Shroomurai clear the front line, and every kill gives Tomato Twister ATK. Once both are 3★, Math Melon gets bought, deployed and sold over and over.
Boss Challenge: Lychee Babe (34,000 points)
A player's Boss Challenge deck that scored 34,000 points in the video. Lychee Babe turns into Minions that aren't in your deck, so the strong ones stay out on purpose.
Club Race 1/3: Conqueror's Temple (no duplicates)
Deck 1 of a set of 3 for the Club Race. Each phase needs its own deck with no Minion repeated between them, and these three share none. This one is for the Conqueror's Temple and is built around Shamaness.
