CommunityMediumUpdated Nov 04, 2026Game version 3.0.1027
Overview
Strengths
Strong mid game (R5 to R7): board ATK 21% above a typical deck.
Strong late (R8 to R10): board ATK 12% above a typical deck.
Beats: Control: stall the game and win late + Rosen Death.
Buildable for free: no paid Battle Pass cards.
With Variants the score goes from 38 to 43.
Weaknesses
Loses to: Apple Sheriff I (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Sir Rose II, Apple Sheriff II (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus, Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus.
Relies on Turnipette: without it the score drops 21.
Attacks 6/7/8/15 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage.
Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.
Community tier list, April video (B): Comfortable early game: gains ATK by itself every Ready. Doesn't carry the late game against Tomato Twister, Orange Bros or Headless Jack.
This Minion gains 1/2/4/12 Research when another Minion is promoted.
Ready: 200% of this Minion's Research is Temp distributed evenly to all other Minions in the same column as ATK.
Main piece (β ): the plan revolves around it.
Works together with: Floral Friar.
Tier list (B, the wiki's rating): Collects Research on every promotion of another Minion and, on Ready, spreads double that as Temp ATK among the Minions in its column. A Promotion deck piece (with Princeling and Dr. Kraut); outside it, it does almost nothing. TreyEx puts it in S; here it's B, like the other pieces that only work in one deck.
Don't have it? Use Azure Astrologer (score +10.0)
Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.
Magic (4 sec): Makes the next attack deal 100%/105%/110%/330% Area Damage.
Community tier list, April video (C): Solid C: strong area shots, but needs slows so the wave walks slowly. Against fast-clearing decks it loses power.
Don't have it? Use Azure Astrologer (score +10.0)
Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.
Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/32 whenever an enemy is defeated.
Main piece (β ): the plan revolves around it.
Core piece of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
Community tier list, April video (S): Gains ATK for every enemy defeated and snowballs fast; the opponent can't do much about it. Fits almost every deck (except Orange Bros). The strongest single card in the game.
Don't have it? Use Rosen Death (score 0.0)
Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.
Ready: Increases the ATK of Minions in the Shop by +2/4/8/32β3/6/12/48.
Main piece (β ): the plan revolves around it.
Tier list (A, the wiki's rating): Ready: Shop Minions gain ATK, and the bonus stays on them and stacks round after round. Everything you buy later arrives stronger. The official news video (Sep 29) says to use it with Chuckleberry. Other lists put it at the top (elpisoul SS, TreyEx S); in the deck builder it scores lower, so the A comes from the mechanic and those lists.
Don't have it? Use Eggydjinn (score +14.0)
Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.
4 random Minions gain 1/2/4/16 ATK whenever a Minion is promoted.
Works together with: Prof. Nutter.
Community tier list, April video (B): Triggers on promotions (pairs with Princeling) and its Variant buffs 3β Minions: good in the Kraut deck and with Chomper's summons.
Don't have it? Use Rosen Death (score +10.0)
Obtained by clearing Adventure Mode 1-3

Questions
Which card should I level first?
Turnipette: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 14.0, more than any other card in the deck.
Can I play it without spending money?
Yes: no card in the deck is from the paid Battle Pass.
Is it worth chasing a Variant?
The best is Apple Sheriff I instead of Apple Sheriff: +5.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).
What if I don't have Turnipette?
Use Greenkeeper instead (score 0.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 21.0.

Deck by JitteryKennon (a player around 3,300 trophies) on the official Discord, #deck-building channel, Oct 8, 2026, with his explanation. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the score comes from the deck builder's simulator.
Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.
Oct 06, 2026: guide rebuilt in the new format (versions, round by round, leveling order, Variants and matchups), with the recalibrated deck builder and APK 2.0.1021 numbers.
