Tomato Twister + Pomblaster + Shroomurai (JitteryKennon)

Pomblaster and Shroomurai clear the front line, and every kill gives Tomato Twister ATK. Once both are 3★, Math Melon gets bought, deployed and sold over and over.

CommunityMediumUpdated Nov 04, 2026Game version 3.0.1027

Overview

Strengths

  • Strong mid game (R5 to R7): board ATK 30% above a typical deck.
  • Strong late (R8 to R10): board ATK 26% above a typical deck.
  • Beats: Control: stall the game and win late + Rosen Death.
  • Buildable for free: no paid Battle Pass cards.
  • With Variants the score goes from 43 to 48.

Weaknesses

  • Loses to: Apple Sheriff I (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Sir Rose II, Apple Sheriff II (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus, Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus.
  • Relies on Turnipette: without it the score drops 14.

The deck as the source plays it.

Without it the score drops 14.0

Ready: Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/20.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Comfortable early game: gains ATK by itself every Ready. Doesn't carry the late game against Tomato Twister, Orange Bros or Headless Jack.

Don't have it? Use Cabby Trainer (score -5.0)

Obtained by purchasing packs.

Without it the score barely changes

Fires a volley of 4/5/6/10 bullets at the enemy, each dealing 40% damage.

  • Community tier list, April video (S): S with the slow Variant. Without it (A), its burst still breaks the snail Boss's shields and wins games on that Boss.

Don't have it? Use Garlic Brigade (score +5.0)

Owned by default.

Without it the score barely changes

Attacks 6/7/8/15 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage.

  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Works together with: Cashew Sage.
  • Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.

Don't have it? Use Hogsteen (score +5.0)

Owned by default.

PomblasterCost 5 ·
Without it the score barely changes

Magic (4 sec): Makes the next attack deal 100%/105%/110%/330% Area Damage.

  • Main piece (★): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Solid C: strong area shots, but needs slows so the wave walks slowly. Against fast-clearing decks it loses power.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +9.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

ShroomuraiCost 5 ·
Without it the score barely changes

Slashes enemies as they enter the field, dealing 80%/80%/80%/160% damage.

  • Main piece (★): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Huge pressure in rounds 1 to 3 and breaks shields on entry, but has no deck of its own and fades later.

Don't have it? Use Azure Astrologer (score +19.0)

Obtained by purchasing packs.

Math MelonCost 5 ·
Without it the score barely changes

Deploy: Increases the selected Minion's ATK by 6.

  • Main piece (★): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Buy it, give instant ATK to the Minion you pick, sell it. With lots of Sun to cycle it adds up (seen in Orange Bros). Don't ignore it.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +19.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Copies 25%/50%/100%/300% of the ATK from the Minion with the highest ATK (excluding self) as a Temp ATK bonus.

  • Part of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Works together with: Apple Sheriff.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): A strong win condition, but it only clones the full ATK at 3★, and 3★ on a cost 8 is hard in PvP. Absurd against Bosses.

Don't have it? Use Alchemush (score +5.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Tomato TwisterCost 8 ·
Without it the score drops 5.0

Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/32 whenever an enemy is defeated.

  • Main piece (★): the plan revolves around it.
  • Core piece of the plan: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill).
  • Community tier list, April video (S): Gains ATK for every enemy defeated and snowballs fast; the opponent can't do much about it. Fits almost every deck (except Orange Bros). The strongest single card in the game.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score 0.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 5.0

Aura: Increases Lady Tulip's ATK by +2/4/8/32 for each Suncoin you have spent this round.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Win condition of the spend-Sun deck, with pressure in rounds 7 to 9. Without the Variant the buff is huge but temporary; with it, smaller and permanent. Swings a lot with the weekly Blessing.

Don't have it? Use Tree of Light (score +5.0)

Obtained by clearing Adventure Mode 2-3

How to play the match

Engine: Pomblaster, Shroomurai and Tomato Twister. DPS Kit: Tomato Twister, Pomblaster, Shroomurai, Apple Sheriff, Turnipette, Pop Gunner, Cashew Sage and Lady Tulip. Support: Math Melon. Pomblaster and Shroomurai take down Rush Squad units, and every kill gives Tomato Twister ATK. Paired with Apple Sheriff, they shred the front line. Pop Gunner handles the Boss: have it on the field and 2★ by round 3 or 6. Turnipette is the main front-liner. She attacks faster than Apple Sheriff, Pop Gunner, Pomblaster and Shroomurai, so she catches any unit that gets ahead of the others. Cashew Sage and Lady Tulip get strong and are decent 8-cost drops: you won't be disappointed when you roll an 8. Once Pomblaster and Shroomurai are 3★, Math Melon is a must. Field it, sell it, repeat (from level 7, each Math Melon you buy raises the bonus by 1 for the rest of the match). Until Math Melon reaches level 7, you can play Leeky Beats I instead, with 2 copies in the top corners and Shroomurai on the middle tile between them.

Questions

Which card should I level first?

Turnipette: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 19.0, more than any other card in the deck.

Can I play it without spending money?

Yes: no card in the deck is from the paid Battle Pass.

Is it worth chasing a Variant?

The best is Apple Sheriff II instead of Apple Sheriff: +9.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).

What if I don't have Turnipette?

Use Cabby Trainer instead (score -5.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 14.0.

Deck by JitteryKennon (a player around 3,300 trophies) on the official Discord, #deck-building channel, Oct 9, 2026, with his explanation. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the score comes from the deck builder's simulator.

Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.

  • Oct 06, 2026: guide rebuilt in the new format (versions, round by round, leveling order, Variants and matchups), with the recalibrated deck builder and APK 2.0.1021 numbers.
  • Oct 09, 2026: deck added to the wiki.
