Shroomurai
Shroomurai is a cost 5 card in Plants on Fire. Rarity: Legendary.
- Slashes enemies as they enter the field, dealing 80%/80%/80%/160% damage.
In practice
Shroomurai attacks every enemy that enters the field, for 80% damage (160% at 4★). That makes it strong against many weak units, like summon bodies. ATK 18, 4 s interval. The builder reads it as early defense and carry, and the plan is to merge. It pairs with Cheerbloom and Gourmand Baker. Tier C. You get it from buying packs.

How star fusion works
2 copies at the same ★ merge into 1 copy at the next ★. 4★ only exists in Rumble Chess. In regular Co-op, your partner's Minions get a blue star and don't merge with yours. How it works
- Triggers: when an enemy unit enters your field.

Card analysis
What this card does inside a deck, from the deck builder's data. It is the same reading the simulator uses to score decks.
Strengths
- Works as Early defense and Carry in a deck.
Weaknesses
- Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.
- It sits in tier C for PvP, according to the community tier list.
Role in the deck
What it plays with
- Feeds Area damage to the engine.
Copies and merging
Merging is the plan: it gets stronger with every promotion or needs a star level.
Card data checked against game version 2.0.1021.0.
Rounds: when you can get it
Worked out from the official shop and Sun rules, for players in the 1000–1599 trophy range. It assumes you spend all your Sun on this card, which almost never happens in a real match.
- You can afford 1 copy(ies) (1★) by R1.
- You can afford 2 copy(ies) (2★) by R1.
- You can afford 4 copy(ies) (3★) by R2.
- Chance of showing up at least once in a 3-card shop: R1 66%, R2 69%, R3 71%, R4 74%, R5 76%, R6 78%.
Good against
Deck types I mark as good targets for this card. The reason comes from my research (in Portuguese or English).
- Summon Bodies: Hits every enemy that enters the field (80% damage): strong against a wide swarm.
Works well with
Pairs the community and I find good together. The notes come from my own research and player guides (written in English).
Same recommendation, Cheerbloom buffing Shroomurai.
Same recommendation, Gourmand Baker buffing Shroomurai.
Wiki deduction from the official text: Both weaken the enemy (reduce or steal ATK, demote ★, slow them while the other hits whoever enters).
What the community says
CSituational
Huge pressure in rounds 1 to 3 and breaks shields on entry, but has no deck of its own and fades later.

Builds using this card
Violet Magus + Headless Jack
Violet Magus deals the damage while Headless Jack turns the HP you lost early into ATK and holds the front line.
Depressão (NoControlTower)
Summon rush from the NoControlTower channel: three Hogsteen on wave 1 flood the rival's side, Shroomurai clears yours and Tomato Twister grows with every kill. Closes before R9.
Princeling + Prof. Nutter, Adventure Hard (JitteryKennon)
For Adventure Hard stages 1-1 to 1-5. Princeling powers Prof. Nutter, whose Research boosts Shroomurai and Tomato Twister.
Shroomurai + Prof. Nutter, 2000+ trophies (JitteryKennon)
Built for a 2000+ trophy player with low-level cards. Prof. Nutter's Research goes to Shroomurai and Pomblaster, and Tomato Twister is the main dealer.
Tomato Twister + Pomblaster + Shroomurai (JitteryKennon)
Pomblaster and Shroomurai clear the front line, and every kill gives Tomato Twister ATK. Once both are 3★, Math Melon gets bought, deployed and sold over and over.
