Lady Tulip theorycraft (JitteryKennon)

A theorycrafted deck for players with the Candlemancer Badge and a Fortune Cat Charm. He says it's even better with Lady Tulip's Variant.

CommunityHardUpdated Nov 04, 2026Game version 3.0.1027

Overview

Strengths

  • Strong early (R1 to R4): board ATK 32% above a typical deck.
  • Strong mid game (R5 to R7): board ATK 33% above a typical deck.
  • Strong late (R8 to R10): board ATK 20% above a typical deck.
  • Beats: Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Sir Rose II, Control: stall the game and win late + Rosen Death, Apple Sheriff II (area carry).
  • Buildable for free: no paid Battle Pass cards.
  • With Variants the score goes from 48 to 57.

Weaknesses

  • Loses to: Apple Sheriff I (area carry), Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus, Tomato Twister (grows with every kill) + Violet Magus.
  • Relies on Turnipette: without it the score drops 10.

The 9 cards and why each one is here

A
48 Β· beats 89% of random decks

The deck as the source plays it.

Without it the score barely changes

Attacks 6/7/8/15 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage.

  • Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.

Don't have it? Use Cabby Trainer (score +14.0)

Owned by default.

Seed PeonCost 3 Β·
Without it the score drops 5.0

Reduces the Purchase Price by 2. Temp increases the Purchase Price by 1 for each Seed Peon you buy.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Part of the plan: Spending economy: Lady Tulip.
  • Works together with: Sunkeeper.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): A cycling card: the first one each round is cheap, buy and sell. Can trigger buy and sell cards. Not worth buying in the shop.

Don't have it? Use Cabby Trainer (score +4.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score drops 10.0

Ready: Increases this Minion's ATK by 2/4/8/20.

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Comfortable early game: gains ATK by itself every Ready. Doesn't carry the late game against Tomato Twister, Orange Bros or Headless Jack.

Don't have it? Use Sister Cherry (score 0.0)

Obtained by purchasing packs.

SunkeeperCost 5 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Suncoins +1/2/4/12.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Part of the plan: Spending economy: Lady Tulip.
  • Works together with: Seed Peon.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Gives Sun every Ready (an active version of Coco Coinhog), but cost 5 is expensive for what it does. Still works in some decks.

Don't have it? Use Orange Bros (score +21.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Temp increases the ATK SPD of the highest-ATK Minion by +15%/30%/60%/180%.

  • Community tier list, April video (A): Lots of attack speed, only for the highest ATK Minion. Absurd with Orange Bros (players run 4 or 5 copies); fits less elsewhere.

Don't have it? Use Orange Bros (score +14.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

DandeLionCost 5
Without it the score drops 5.0

Ready: Temp reduces the ATK of all enemy Minions by 2/4/8/20.

  • Community tier list, April video (D): Lowers enemy ATK only a little and needs 3β˜… on a cost 5. The weakest card in PvP.

Don't have it? Use Gourmand Baker (score +19.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Lady TulipCost 8 Β·
Without it the score drops 5.0

Aura: Increases Lady Tulip's ATK by +2/4/8/32 for each Suncoin you have spent this round.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Core piece of the plan: Spending economy: Lady Tulip.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): Win condition of the spend-Sun deck, with pressure in rounds 7 to 9. Without the Variant the buff is huge but temporary; with it, smaller and permanent. Swings a lot with the weekly Blessing.

Don't have it? Use Eggydjinn (score +14.0)

Obtained by clearing Adventure Mode 2-3

Cashew SageCost 8 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Copies 25%/50%/100%/300% of the ATK from the Minion with the highest ATK (excluding self) as a Temp ATK bonus.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Community tier list, April video (B): A strong win condition, but it only clones the full ATK at 3β˜…, and 3β˜… on a cost 8 is hard in PvP. Absurd against Bosses.

Don't have it? Use Tree of Light (score +19.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

ShamanessCost 8
Without it the score drops 5.0

Ready: Increases the ATK of other Minions by +2/4/8/32 (only 1 of each duplicate). Instead grants ATK +4/8/16/64 if there are no duplicates on the field.

  • Community tier list, April video (A): Buffs the whole board every round, doubled with no repeated copies on the board. An easy A by usage; ranked behind the attackers because it's a support.

Don't have it? Use Tomato Twister (score +14.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

How to play the match

Apple Sheriff and Turnipette (or Guaca Sage) manage the front line. Sunkeeper gives Suncoins, and Seed Peon is a cheap purchase that powers up Lady Tulip, who gains ATK for every Suncoin spent in the round. Cashew Sage copies part of the strongest Minion's ATK and gives you a second high-ATK Minion. Broc Presley and Shamaness support Lady Tulip or Cashew Sage. DandeLion lowers the enemy field's ATK.

Questions

Which card should I level first?

DandeLion: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 16.0, more than any other card in the deck.

Can I play it without spending money?

Yes: no card in the deck is from the paid Battle Pass.

Is it worth chasing a Variant?

The best is Apple Sheriff II instead of Apple Sheriff: +9.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).

What if I don't have Turnipette?

Use Sister Cherry instead (score 0.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 10.0.

Deck by JitteryKennon (a player around 3,300 trophies) on the official Discord, #deck-building channel, Oct 8, 2026, with his explanation. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the score comes from the deck builder's simulator. It's a theorycraft: he doesn't say he played it.

Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.

  • Oct 06, 2026: guide rebuilt in the new format (versions, round by round, leveling order, Variants and matchups), with the recalibrated deck builder and APK 2.0.1021 numbers.
  • Oct 09, 2026: deck added to the wiki.
