Co-op and Rumble Chess use the same cards as Ranked with very different rules. A deck that does well in one mode can struggle in the other. This guide follows the tutorial's rules and adds the wiki's numbers and read.
CO-OP: REWARDS
You play stages with another player, and the reward depends on how many rounds you survive together. Clearing every round of a stage gives the Completion Reward (the first one resets every week). You can find a partner through chat or play with AI, but there's no helping with AI.
When your Attempts run out, you can still use Assists to join another player's match and earn part of the rewards. Attempts and Assists reset every day. An Instant Ticket completes a match on the spot, with the reward of your highest round that day, and uses one Attempt.
In the Trick or Bleed season, according to the official notice (Oct 20 to 22), clearing the current stage during the week unlocks Super Blitz: with 2 Blitz Tickets you instantly claim the reward of the highest round you've cleared, even if you haven't played that day.
CO-OP: FIELD AND HELPING
- The field has 12 tiles, three more than in other modes.
- Your partner's Minions show a blue star and don't merge with yours. Blue-star Minions merge with each other.
- Each round you can drag a Shop Minion into the "help" slot. It reaches your partner for free, and your partner can do the same for you.
The wiki's read: the 3 extra tiles favor cards that like a full board, such as Violet Magus, who fires an extra missile for each Minion with her ★, and summon decks. When helping, send the copy that completes your partner's 2★ or 3★: that's the one worth most to them.
RUMBLE CHESS: HOW A MATCH WORKS
There are 8 players. Whoever hits 0 HP is out, and placement follows the order of elimination. A high placement gives more Rumble Trophies (they raise your rank on the Rumble Track) and Rumble Medals (they unlock the Rumble Pass). Both reset each season.
Each season has 6 decks, and each match draws 3. Everyone buys from the same pool, and each card has a limited count. When it runs out, nobody can buy it until someone sells (the card goes back) or gets eliminated (all their cards go back). You can use cards you haven't unlocked in normal modes, at your level for them or a guaranteed minimum level.
Suncoins are higher than in Ranked: 15 on rounds 1 to 3, 20 on 4 to 6, 25 on 7 and 8, 30 on 9 and 35 on 10. On R1 the Shop only shows cost 3 (Official tables).
4★ MINIONS
Two 3★ Minions become a 4★, which only exists in this mode. According to the tutorial, cost 5 4★ Minions are usually stronger than cost 3 ones, and cost 8 ones tend to decide the match.
The wiki's math: a 4★ uses 8 1★ copies. With a shared pool, two players chasing the same Minion will rarely finish a 4★. Watch what the lobby is buying and aim for a Minion nobody else is taking. 4★ numbers are on the card pages, like Valkyris's 200% and Muscle Melon's 800% against Bosses.
HP ABSORPTION
When your Attack Units hit the enemy Captain, it drops HP on the field. If you survive the round, your Captain absorbs that HP. This doesn't happen in Boss rounds, in the final phase with two players left, or against an enemy who already fell in another fight of the same match. Max HP in this mode is 200.
DECK SYNERGY
Buying Minions from one of the 3 drawn decks adds Synergy Points to that deck. A 1★ is worth 1 point, a 2★ 2, a 3★ 4 and a 4★ 8. Selling a Minion removes its points and can switch off an active effect. Thresholds go from 4 to 50 points.
The full read of the 6 decks, with what each synergy gives at 25, 35 and 50 points, is in the guide Rumble Chess: how to read the 6 decks. There, the wiki concludes that 35 points in a single deck is the realistic target: nine 3★ from the same deck (36) or five 4★ (40). The Rumble Chess page has what we've checked in the game.
