In practice

It pays most in a summon deck, which fills the board with temporary Minions. ATK 6, 2.5 s interval. Each copy gives the full effect. Tier B in PvP. You get it by finishing Adventure Mode 3-2.

How star fusion works
2 copies at the same ★ merge into 1 copy at the next ★. 4★ only exists in Rumble Chess. In regular Co-op, your partner's Minions get a blue star and don't merge with yours. How it works
- Triggers: every time one of your Minions enters the field.
- Who it affects: one random Minion.
- ATK: +1/2/4 (1★/2★/3★), this round only.
Read from the game's official data. Numbers are for card level 1, for 1★/2★/3★ when three values are shown.

Works well with
Pairs the community and I find good together. The notes come from my own research and player guides (written in English).
Every Hogsteen summon triggers Ginger Honcho, which grants Temp ATK to 3 other random Minions.
Every Cabby Pup summoned by Cabby Trainer also triggers Ginger Honcho.
"only pays off with summoners (Hogsteen, Cabby, Chomper, Sunny Banker)".
"only pays off with summoners (Hogsteen, Cabby, Chomper, Sunny Banker)", Sunny Banker's Ready summon also triggers Ginger Honcho.
What the community says
BUsable, has a deck
Every summon gives temporary ATK to other Minions: helps the Summon deck, but the deck works without it. Last in B.

Builds using this card
Zerg Rush / Summon (Trovão)
Floods the board with Temp summons that keep growing. Strong up to about 1,100 Trophies, per Reddit reports.
Orange Bros and Guaca Sage
4-card core from a community PvP guide; the deck builder filled the other 5 slots around Orange Bros' clones. Builder score: 97 (Carry style).
Summon deck (official guide)
The deck the game team itself published: Cabby Trainer and Hogsteen fill the board with Temp summons, and Chomper devours them to grow.
Chomper (NoControlTower)
NoControlTower's favorite deck: two 3★ Cabby Trainers deliver the 8 summons a 3★ Chomper devours, Ginger Honcho grows on every summon and Apple Sheriff holds the first waves.
Club Race 2/3: Black Market Vault (Summon)
Deck 2 of the Club Race set, for the Black Market Vault. It's the official Summon deck: summons fill the board without buying, and buying is what costs ATK in this phase.
