The 9 cards and why each one is here

The deck as the source plays it.

Pine Gangster IICost 3 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

This Minion gains ATK +14%/14%/14%/28% when promoted (up to +50/50/50/100 per promotion).

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Works together with: Judge Chilius.
  • Community tier list, April video (C): Gains ATK when promoted, but no deck makes it work without a specific Blessing. Cost 3 rarely carries.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +33.0)

Obtainable in the Variant Recruit feature.

Without it the score barely changes

Fires a volley of 4/4/4/8 bullets at the enemy, each dealing 40% damage and slowing by 30%/48%/60% for 2 sec.

  • Community tier list, April video (S): S with the slow Variant. Without it (A), its burst still breaks the snail Boss's shields and wins games on that Boss.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +38.0)

Obtainable in the Variant Recruit feature.

Without it the score barely changes

Attacks 6 enemies at once, dealing 40% damage and increasing this Minion's ATK SPD by +2%/3%/4%/8% for every enemy on the field.

  • Community tier list, April video (S): With Variant II it attacks again on every kill and clears the wave alone. Without it (A): good early damage, hits many enemies, breaks shields.

Don't have it? Use Turnipette (score +33.0)

Obtainable in the Variant Recruit feature.

DandeLionCost 5
Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Temp reduces the ATK of all enemy Minions by 2/4/8/20.

  • Community tier list, April video (D): Lowers enemy ATK only a little and needs 3β˜… on a cost 5. The weakest card in PvP.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +33.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Judge ChiliusCost 5 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Deploy: Demotes the selected Minion's β˜… rank by 1 (this counts as a promotion).

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Works together with: Pine Gangster.
  • Community tier list, April video (D): In PvP there's no deck for it: re-merging costs too much. Against Bosses it's another story.

Don't have it? Use Violet Magus (score +33.0)

Obtained from the Power Track.

Without it the score barely changes

On purchase: Refreshes the Shop with 1 8-Cost Minions and increases their cost by +2.

  • Community tier list, April video (A): On buy, refreshes the Shop with cost 8 cards, the strongest in the game. Under some Blessings it even beats Headless Jack.

Don't have it? Use Headless Jack (score +33.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Chili ChefCost 8 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Increases the ATK of Minions in the Shop by +2/4/8/32–3/6/12/48.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Tier list (A, the wiki's rating): Ready: Shop Minions gain ATK, and the bonus stays on them and stacks round after round. Everything you buy later arrives stronger. The official news video (Sep 29) says to use it with Chuckleberry. Other lists put it at the top (elpisoul SS, TreyEx S); in the deck builder it scores lower, so the A comes from the mechanic and those lists.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score +33.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

ShamanessCost 8 Β·
Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Increases the ATK of other Minions by +2/4/8/32 (only 1 of each duplicate). Instead grants ATK +4/8/16/64 if there are no duplicates on the field.

  • Main piece (β˜…): the plan revolves around it.
  • Core piece of the plan: Shamaness (buffs the whole board, unique cards).
  • Community tier list, April video (A): Buffs the whole board every round, doubled with no repeated copies on the board. An easy A by usage; ranked behind the attackers because it's a support.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score +33.0)

Can be obtained from Harvest Pots, Recruitment, and the U-Pick Farm.

Without it the score barely changes

Ready: Temp demotes 1/2/4 enemy Minions by -1/1/1/3β˜….

  • Community tier list, April video (B): Demotes enemy stars and lowers speed and damage. Very annoying against Tomato Twister (stops it from growing), but not a win condition.

Don't have it? Use Pumpkin King (score +33.0)

Obtained from the Power Track.

How to play the match

Engine: Pine Gangster II and Judge Chilius. DPS Kit: Pine Gangster II (the highest power-scaling Minion), Pop Gunner I (softens high-HP units, slows them and tears through shields) and Apple Sheriff I (multi-target damage for big crowds). Support: DandeLion and Rosen Death weaken the enemy field; Chili Chef and Shamaness raise your Minions' ATK. Carrot Broker brings your 8-Costs out more reliably. Judge Chilius demotes a Minion and that counts as a promotion: you promote again and gain ATK fast as long as you have Suncoins.

Questions

Which card should I level first?

DandeLion: taking it to level 10 raises the score by 26.0, more than any other card in the deck.

Can I play it without spending money?

Yes, with the Starter version (score 10, beats 7% of random decks).

Is it worth chasing a Variant?

The best is Pine Gangster I instead of Pine Gangster II: +9.0 score. Variants come from Rumble Chess and Variant Recruit (unlocked at 700 Trophies).

What if I don't have Apple Sheriff I?

Use Turnipette instead (score +33.0). It's the card that matters most: without it the score drops 0.0.

Deck by RoyalRabbit5502 on the official Discord (#deck-building channel, Oct 5, 2026), posted as an example under JitteryKennon's deckbuilding guide. I have not played this deck in a match yet; the score comes from the deck builder's simulator.

Deck builder scores at level 8 (1,000 to 2,199 Trophies), from simulated matches that run until a Captain dies, as in the game. Opponents: 150 random decks and the 6 meta decks the builder generated itself. The fight was calibrated on Oct 10 with my own real matches.

  • Oct 06, 2026: guide rebuilt in the new format (versions, round by round, leveling order, Variants and matchups), with the recalibrated deck builder and APK 2.0.1021 numbers.
  • Oct 09, 2026: deck added to the wiki.
