[Rosen Death](/cards/morte-rosacea) is a cost-8 Legendary that demotes enemy Minions on Ready.
Full context
Rosen Death is a cost-8 Legendary that demotes enemy Minions on Ready. From level 9 on she gains an aura that slows enemy 1★ Minions, and the two parts help each other: the demotion takes stars off the enemy and the aura catches whatever ends up at 1★. The Oct 27 patch weakened the card, with lower base stats and the speed reduction cut in half at high levels. Below are the current numbers and what they change.
THE CARD SHEET AFTER THE PATCH
- Cost 8, Legendary, targets the Front Line.
- 25 ATK at 1★, one attack every 3 s. It used to be 35 ATK and one attack every 2.5 s.
- Ready: Temp. demotes 1/2/4 enemy Minions (by her own ★) by 1★.
| Level | What she gains | Before the patch |
|---|---|---|
| 8 | Ready now demotes 2/4/8 Minions | same |
| 9 | Aura: enemy 1★ Minions lose 5%/10%/20% ATK SPD | 10%/20%/40% |
| 10 | Aura: if the enemy only has 1★ Minions, they lose 10%/20%/40% | 20%/40%/80% |
| 11 | both reductions go up to 10%/20%/40% and 20%/40%/80% | 15%/30%/60% and 30%/60%/120% |
| 12 | 15%/30%/60% and 30%/60%/120% | 22%/44%/88% and 44%/88%/176% |
- Enemy 1★ Minions
- If the enemy only has 1★
Rosen Death at 2★, official text of each level. At 1★ it's half; at 3★, double. Level 9 doesn't have the "only 1★" part yet.

BY LEVEL (by Rosen Death's own ★: 1★/2★/3★)
The level 8 and level 9 values are confirmed by the version 3.0.1027 level table. The "only 1★" part of levels 10 to 12 is marked as to be checked on the card page: the wiki kept double the Aura, as before the patch, until it sees the card sheet in game.
WHAT IT MEANS IN A MATCH
- An enemy 1★ Minion that attacks every 2 s now attacks every 2.2 s against a level 9, 2★ Rosen Death (10%). Before the patch it was 2.5 s.
- Against a level 12, 3★ Rosen Death on an all-1★ board, the reduction reaches 120%. A reduction above 100% would stop the Minion completely, and the wiki doesn't know how the game handles that case. If you have a screenshot of it, send it through the Contact page.
- At level 9, a 2★ takes half of what it used to. Wiki analysis: level 9 became a small bonus, and the step that matters now is 11, where a 2★ reaches the 20% that level 9 used to give.

Wiki math, assuming the ATK SPD reduction stretches the attack interval by the same proportion (the text doesn't give the formula):
WHO SUFFERS MOST
Decks that fill the board with 1★. Cabby Trainer and Cabby Trainer I summon 1★ Sprouts every Ready, and Headless Jack often stays at 1★ in low-HP decks. Wiki deduction: since the demotion takes 1★ off up to 8 Minions at level 8 (3★), the "only 1★" condition of level 10 is easier to meet than it looks, especially in the early rounds.

She also holds waves in the Extreme Challenge: in the week of Oct 27 NoControlTower ran her in the Horde summon deck. The deck is in the Extreme Challenge guide.
IN THE VIDEO (BEFORE THE PATCH)
Details and source
In October, a Brazilian YouTuber played her at 3,800 trophies. The screen showed a 10% reduction and then 20%, which were the level 9 values at 1★ and 2★ back then, and an opponent with a level 12 Headless Jack couldn't attack fast. In his words, she was a direct counter to the Summon deck. With the Oct 27 numbers, the same effect takes one more level.
WHAT WE DON'T KNOW YET
- Whether the two reductions (the one on 1★ Minions and the "only 1★" one) add up when both apply.
- The exact value of the "only 1★" part at levels 10 to 12 after the patch.
- What happens with a reduction above 100%.
